Outside of school and COUHR, David is very interested in novel pathways linking various bodily systems to the brain and conducts research with the Vulnerable Brain Lab. Other interests include music, gardening, and chess.

Winnie Liu
Editor in ChiefWinnie is a third year Medical Sciences student (Honors physiology) at Western University. She is the current co-editor in chief for the 2021-2022 school year. She has conducted research in Epidemiology, Ophthalmology & Biochemistry departments at Western. Her hobbies include spending time with family and re-watching all the Harry Potter movies!

She is currently conducting research under the faculty of Biomedical Engineering as well as the Joint Replacement Institute here in London. Other interests include coaching at Western’s Dragon Boat Club, listening to music, and reading.

Renee-Gabrielle Fajardo
Literature ReviewerRenee is a third year undergraduate student at Western University studying Pathology and Pharmacology. She joined COUHR as a Literature Reviewer for the InScight Volume 1 in 2019, and is continuing her role to work on the InScight Volume 2. Renee is passionate about eradicating global health inequities, promoting women's health, and increasing healthcare accessibility. Outside of COUHR, Renee works with UNICEF Western and Women's Health Network Western to supplement her academics. When she's not working in the cardiology department at Credit Valley Hospital and the Brampton mass vaccination clinic, she enjoys eating out at different restaurants and binging her different subscriptions in her free time!

Director of Graphic DesignBernie is the lead graphic designer for COUHR this year and he manages all the social media graphics. Bernie is in his third year of Medical Sciences specializing in Medical Bioinformatics, and he is also doing research related to this module!

WILLIAM HONCHARUK

William Honcharuk
Vice President of MarketingWill Honcharuk is in his fifth year at Western University, working towards his Honors in Business Administration degree from the Ivey School of Business his Bachelor of Media Studies, and his HBA Certificate in Sustainability. Will is VP of Marketing at COUHR London, having previously filled the role of Director of Partnerships and Media Strategy. Outside of school, Will serves as Vice-Chair of the Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB) National Youth Council. This past summer, Will worked developing product marketing strategy for TELUS. In his free time, Will enjoys camping, theatre, and film history.

VANESSA LAM

Literature Reviewer | Marketing TeamVanessa is currently working towards a BSc Honours Specialization in Neuroscience at Western University and was part of the 2020-2021 team for the InScight. She is currently a director on the Partnerships and Media Strategy team. Her research experience includes working within the fields of cognitive neuroscience and clinical psychology, and she loves cats and trying out new food!
