Ashish graduated from the Honours Specialization in Biology program at Western University where he focused on Molecular Genetics. He currently works at The Hospital for Sick Children as a Clinical Research Technologist. His research experience includes a stint at the Agriculture & Agri-Food Canada centre in London under the Genomics & Biotechnology Division where he fell in love with high throughput biology. He was also involved as a Research Assistant for the Autism Spectrum and Language Disorders Lab at Western. He first joined COUHR as a literature reviewer for the Staying current with COVID summer series in 2020. Outside of Science, Ashish is obsessed with planes (formerly, VP Events for the Western Aviation Association) and trying out Korean recipes!
